Phoenix Builds a Cover

I haven't written this out as a story because I don't have time.  I'm working on a fan fiction short story right now and preparing for NaNoWriMo.  The fan fiction is from the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences world and I'm only at 2000+ words.  My goal is 7.5k by the 30th (small f... [More]

What is a Thoughtful Dreamer?

My friend, whom I call Maki, recently posted on lucid dreaming: Even In My Dreams.  When I read this post I couldn’t help but think that this is exactly how I dream every night.  He wrote “The thing I've always seen about lucid dreaming is that the key is planting some sort of idea in your... Many Stories in a Different Telling

When I awoke from the following dream I couldn’t help but find similarities to other fantasy references. I thought of Arthur and Merlin, Harry Potter, Dragonheart, the The Eye of the World (The Wheel of Time, Book 1), By Christopher Paolini: Eragon (Inheritance, Book 1), and more.
----- He’d been following the dark hunters for four weeks now in hopes that they would lead him to the prophesied champion or at least others holding the gift. Entering 2011 November NaNoWriMo

This year I’ve decided to place a challenge on myself for writing. The National Novel Writing Month contest will help me accomplish this goal. I don’t expect that I will complete the required goal of 50,000 words to win recognition, but I badly want to try. I’ve encouraged my nephew to join with m... [More]

First Appearance of Phoenix

Below is the first appearance of Phoenix in my dreams.  I shared this with a couple of my friends a while back, but now that I’m blogging I thought I’d post this here.   I wrote this up on March 23, 2011.  In my dream there is a small story that happens before this and hopefully ... [More]

Obsessed with Scenes (Part 1: Owner’s Prerogative)

Rating: Explicit Suggestions Genre: female, smut, fantasy Like all the good writers most stories come from dreams, but unlike most for me it’s an obsession dream that I repeat nightly. Once I dream up a great story idea I go through the process of analyzing the details. I program my brain to drea... [More]
